Why oh why oh why

Oh my God he´s got a gun
Come on everybody we gotta run

He´s gone trigger happy shooting like crazy,
just because he´s feeling bored and lazy

Doesn´t care that he´s taking lives away
Families as always will be asking why oh why
A son and daughter went to school today,
but they had no idea they were going to die
It´s okay to have a gun cause we just love to cry

A gun under a car seat, so don´t mess with me
I can do what I want cause the law says I´m free

How many people have to die?
It´s only a question and not a lie
I wonder what God thinks when we look up to the sky
Dear God, we pray to thee to tell us why oh why

So easy to preach
Yet so difficult to teach

Not to kill our brothers and sisters
Oh yes, we go to church and pray to God
Look Mommy, daddy bought me a gun
Now I can really have some fun
Come on everyone let´s applaud

People will die
People will cry
Look up to the sky
and always ask the same question
Why oh why oh why?

Cuando te vi

Cuando te vi
Me sentí
Algo fuera de mi
Te vi llegar de la nada
Donde yo antes miraba
Una chica que brillaba
Mi corazón se despertó
Creo que Diós me contestó
Su sonrisa me decía
Que quizás sería mía
Pues me parecía mas una niña
Ojos que me miraba
Y yo que no respiraba
Dos hijas me ha dado
y también soy su amado
Su sonrisa
Es como una brisa
Que me da su calor
Para disfrutar de nuestro amor

Oh so free

Looking up to the sky
How I wish I could fly
Fly to a full moon
Just like a balloon
Leaving at exactly highnoon
See if it´s really made of cheese
At least I´m sure free of disease
How I wish I could fly
No need to ask me why
Fly over the Grand Canyon
Then off to see the city of Boston
Fly to see the famous great wall
On my way to visit the Dalai Lama in Nepal
So many places I want to see
I wish I could fly and be so free
Looking up to the sky
Knowing one day I will fly away
No need to ask me why oh why

Memories in the wind

Memories in the wind trying to recall
Remembering as a kid playing baseball
Trying not to be hit by such a hardball

Like a puzzle of thousands of pieces
Childhood memories of a different species

How far back can I go
Although such a long time ago
To see an image that I trully know

Memories blowing in the wind
Trying to capture some of them
So I can try to write this poem

Don´t want to forget
Rather much like a magnet

Capturing a glimpse of who I am
When my mother walked me in a dark blue tram

A new day

Waking up in the early morning
The light filtering in through the window
Thank you God for giving me another new day
There is nothing else I really need to say

Breathing to the smell of jasmin
The smell of pine all around
In the distance the mountain high above any sound

The smell of freshness in the air
Is the moment of the morning I like best
Awaking in the morning after a good night´s rest

Sitting outside in the terrace drinking my herbal tea
Looking at the mountains right before me
I´ll let my spirit take me whereever it wants thee

Flying high above the mountain peak
Contemplating the new day
The blue sea in the distance not far away
Makes me want to continue to forever live and seek

Breathing deeply

Breathing deeply
Walking slowly

The sun above me
Feel so happily free

Cool breeze in the air
Gently going through my hair

The sun on my face
Will surely leave me a lasting trace

Walking along the path of giant trees
Whispering gentle songs of quiet peace

Feeling good to be alive
Not important when I arrive

Time is still
This moment my very will
As I walk up the gentle hill

I may die on this day
Let my spirit take me away
And be born again in the month of May

Saw an angel

A smile on her face
I saw her the other day
Left me such a lasting trace,
that I wanted so much to embrace

Wondering the words she wanted to say
Looking at one another
When we glanced on that special day

A kind of connection was surely made
Words unsaid
We will never again trade
Oh heaven forbid

Her smile was a look
Not easy to explain
Rather more like an open book
How I wish to see her once again

I remember thinking to myself
Was she an angel?
Briefly touching my inner self

Walking in the street
One Sunday afternoon
Saw an angel oh so sweet

Live Again

We all wonder about death
How it feels to take our last breath
Will our spirit fly away
High above the milky way
Will our spirit begin a new life
Living again to learn and strive
Some may believe another thing
Who knows what death will bring
Be united with our kin
Live again without any sin
Death will surely come one day
Although I´ve heard wise men say
Live again in a much different way

Riding my bike

Riding my bike is what I like to do
Works wonders even when I feel somewhat blue
In a forest with trees all around
I really don´t care where I am bound
Enjoy the feeling that my body is moving
Remembering moments when it was snowing
Crossing a bridge over a river
Never was much of an Indian giver
Along the river I ride
I know I have nothing to hide
Stop for a rest to contemplate the view
All the colors of a different hue
Riding my bike along the seashore
I really cannot ask for anything more

Death

Departure of loved ones is so sad
Feeling the pain deep within my soul
These thoughts don´t make me at all very glad
Wondering if life for everyone has a goal
I miss them oh so dearly
So many things I don´t understand
Although at times I see them so clearly
But there are moments hard to withstand
 It all seems so unfair
why a loved one must depart
To be so strong and have to bear
It hurts oh so deep in my stricken heart
I would like to see them one day
I do hope that love will guide my way
When it´s time to fly away

Knock knock who´s there

I wonder who lives behind this door
Perhaps they all tiptoe on the floor
Or is it because they´re at war
If I dare knocked with the golden hand
Would they send me far to a mysterious land ?
Although I´m very tempted to give it a try
I´m afraid I´ll be faced with a very nasty guy
It´s curious to know who lives behind this door
ImageI´d love to go in and begin to explore
Such an impressive door I must know
Even though they may be friend or foe
I wonder who lives behind this golden hand
It may not turn out as I had planned

and simply give me a warm hello

Feeling so peaceful

Walking in the forest
Image
Where I feel the closest

With silence everywhere
Walking feeling so peaceful
and also so very thankful

That is all I need to care
Hearing magical sounds in the air

Giving thanks I´m let to share
Trees whispering to me
Reaching for the bright sky
Open your eyes and begin to see

Wish I could climb oh so high
Then take off and begin to fly
to see the forest from the sky

The smell of wetness
In the month of May
I walk along a sunlit way
Everywhere silence accompanies me
Walking in the forest on this beautiful day

How great it is to feel so free

On this beautiful day in the month of May
